MKHA AGM and Elections – 12th December 2021 at 3.00pm to 5.30pm

Namaste! We hope you are all safe and well and had a great Diwali! The time has come again for the current executive committee to step down and for a new committee to be formed.
With the new MKHA Mandir and Community Centre, the need for assistance from the membership has significantly grown. We are therefore looking forward to welcoming the new committee who will be pivotal in embedding a long-term structure for the current building and playing a significant role in the next phase, as well as in the organisation. Any member of the existing committee is of course able to stand for re-election.
The elections and AGM will take place on 12th December 2021 at our community centre. There are 16 positions open for application:
- President and Vice President
- Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer
- Secretary and Assistant Secretary
- 10 Executive Committee Members
We are looking for people with many different skill sets, not only those that are required to organise and manage the numerous events we hold, but also skills required in the back office such as Project Management, Buildings Management, Compliance, Health and Safety, IT and Communications, Finance and Accounting, People Management, and lots more.
If you have the skills to contribute to the future MKHA then we want to hear from you! Please complete the nomination form which can be found on our website www.mkha.org or please email trustees@mkha.org for an application form.
Nominations must be submitted 7 days before the date of the AGM to secretary@mkha.org which will be by close of business on 05th December 2021. Voting will commence on the 06th December 2021 and conclude during the AGM on the 12th December 2021. This can be submitted by either email to jagatialegal6@yahoo.co.uk or in person on the day of AGM (paid up members only).
