The Milton Keynes Hindu Association (MKHA) was invited by The Hindu Forum of Britain to attend and celebrate the festival of lights, Diwali, at the Palace of Westminster. The Diwali reception featuring colourful Indian dances, melodious music, costumed artistes, annakut food display, rangoli floor patterns, traditional earthen lamps, prayers and Sanskrit chanting transformed the normally sober Members’ Dining Room at the Commons into a riot of colour.
