Update - September 08

  • Prices reduced at the Hindu Elders Housing Scheme at Broughton
  • Elders housing open day

September 08 , Luminus, the Housing Association working in partnership with MKHA, has announced a reduction in the price of their shared ownership homes on offer to Hindu Elders in Broughton. The reduction of around 10 per cent reflects the recent drop in house prices.

The new homes, which will be ready for occupation soon, offer a unique opportunity for older people within the Hindu community to live independenly alongside fellow Hindus with the added benefit of being close to the new Hindu Community Centre. The scheme is open to Hindus over the age of 55. The development consists of a mixture of two bedroom houses and flats, some of which have been adapted for wheelchair access. The units are availabe for rent or purchase by way of shared ownership.

The next openday will be held at the site on Saturday 25th October, between 10am - 3pm.
